Aubrey Queen is a Canadian that has been transplanted to Eugene, Oregon. She grew up spending more time with her nose in a book, instead of in her homework or playing on a playground. She grew up to have an early love of Horses through the Thoroughbred Series, and later murder Mysteries with Agatha Christie and Rita Mae Brown (& Sneaky Pie Brown). Romances were always a guilty pleasure, loving Rebecca York and Nalini Singh.
With a bit of an eclectic collection on both her bookshelf and kindle, Aubrey loves reading Garth Nix, Johnathan Stroud, CS Friedman, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, Catherine Asaro, and many many more.
Book, Roleplay, and Fanfiction taught Aubrey her craft, and while she has a few creative writing classes under her belt, her biggest inspiration has been both the greats in literature but also her friends and writing allies.
In her spare time, Aubrey knits, reads, and plays with acrylic paints.
